Kellie Wilson is a passionate music educator with over 20 years’ experience helping kids find joy, confidence and connection through music. She holds a Bachelor of Communications, Masters of Learning and Teaching and postgraduate music qualifications. She is a member of the Queensland Music Teachers Association and Communication, Speech and Performance Teachers.
Kellie has worked for major arts organisations including the Queensland and West Australian Symphony Orchestras, the Queensland Conservatorium, 4MBS Classic FM and Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and performed across the country and overseas. These days, she’s most at home teaching music in the classroom as well as strings, piano, violin and conducting choirs and ensembles.
As a Mum of two, Kellie advocates for the power of music-making and drama to boost language, social skills and resilience.
